How to apply?

Do I need to apply by a specific date?
Yes! please apply not later than 2 weeks before the event.

How old must I be to volunteer?  
You must be 14 or over by the event date.

If I am not Malaysian?
You will need the appropriate VISA or work permit.

Can I apply if I have special needs?
Yes! please indicate your special needs on the application form, we will do our very best to accommodate. 

Can I apply if I am pregnant?    
Yes, as mentioned above, please indicate your special needs, please ensure you have your doctor's approval before you enroll.

Do I need to pay a deposit?    
Yes, a refundable deposit of RM30.00 

Why do I need to pay a deposit?  
This is to prevent people from not turning up for their roles and duties. 

Does my position confirmed after payment?
No, paying a deposit does not guarantee your position at the event, applications are assessed and position allocated after a deposit has been paid. 

Why my application is rejected?   

  • The application does not fulfil the Terms and Conditions.

  • If it is ascertained the applicant has previously been blacklisted by other event or volunteer organisation.


If I cancel my application, is my deposit still refunded? 
Yes! please inform us not later than 2 weeks before the event.  

When will I get back the deposit?  
It will be paid together with your entitlements after the event. 

Do I get paid to be volunteers?
RM50.00 and an official event T-shirt. (subject to change)
